Keep frontline medical professionals protected!
Help us 3D print personal protective equipment
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
The COVID-19 crisis is exhausting important medical resources. Specifically, personal protective equipment (PPE) like face shields and face masks are in high demand.
CREATE has retooled its IDEA Center, leveraging its own 3D printers and various community printers, to set up a temporary manufacturing facility for this high-need equipment. We already have an approved face shield that is in active use at local hospitals, and we are working on designs for face masks and ventilator parts.
To increase production, CREATE has purchased additional 3D printers, and we have invested funds in supplies necessary to production. We are seeking contributions from community members interested in supporting this effort.
Our files are open sourced. If your community is interested in printing our approved face mask, you can access the files via our website, www.createportagecounty.org. We welcome contributions from communities who appreciate the time we have invested into these designs.
